Welcome to Grow with OM Yoga
This is a space for children, parents, and people of all ages and abilities—a place where movement, breath, and curiosity come together to support real, personal growth. Here, we focus on children’s yoga and nervous system regulation as a foundation for well-being. Many families come to us seeking support with children’s yoga and nervous system regulation to help kids thrive.

My name is Shannon, and I’m the founder of Grow with OM yoga.
I began practicing yoga after sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 2008. What started as a tool for healing became a way of finding balance—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and ultimately reshaped how I understand growth, resilience, and support. The lessons I learned were valuable – regulation, awareness, and strength are skills that can be learned, practiced, and lived.
That belief now shapes everything I teach.
Children’s yoga is nervous system regulation
I became certified to teach children’s yoga in 2018 through YogaKids , and what followed was not just a career path, but a deeper commitment to accessibility and integrity in teaching. Since then, children’s yoga and nervous system regulation have been at the center of my teaching philosophy. I work with children and adults across ages, abilities, and stages of life, always guided by the same principle: growth is personal, not performative.
Grow with OM focuses on teaching yoga from a place of knowledge, curiosity, and lived experience. My work centers on children’s yoga regulation through mindful movement, breath, and connection.I believe in asking thoughtful questions, honoring process, and letting the path evolve. I’ve learned that meaningful growth can always be felt.
If you’re looking for a grounded, inclusive approach to yoga that values clarity, connection, and compassion, you’re in the right place. I practice managing my own nervous system and weave this into every part of my work.

I don’t just teach this work, I live this work. The only thing better than practicing yoga is teaching it.
