Welcome to Grow with OM

Welcome to Grow with OM Yoga

Helping children regulate emotions, build confidence, and feel safe in their bodies through movement, breath, and mindful tools.

This is a space for children, parents, and people of all ages and abilities—a place where movement, breath, and curiosity come together to support real, personal growth.

Here, children’s yoga and nervous system regulation are not separate—they are the foundation.

You Are Welcome Here, Just As You Are

If you’re looking for support for your child, your students, your family—or even yourself—here are a few places to begin:

I work with hundreds of children each year, and these tools are what I come back to again and again to support calm, focus, and confidence. Shop my favorite tools here.

Hi! I’m Shannon.

My name is Shannon McGuire, and I am the founder of Grow with OM Yoga.

I began practicing yoga after sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 2008.  At first, it was a tool for healing. Over time, it became a way of finding balance—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and ultimately reshaped how I understand growth, resilience, and support.

Through this experience, I came to understand something simple but powerful: we can practice and live regulation, awareness, and strength. Today, that belief shapes everything I teach.

In my work, I prioritize accessibility, inclusion, and integrity in my classes. My students span all ages and abilities, and my approach centers on nervous system regulation through mindful movement, breath, and connection—to our bodies and to one another.

Because of this, I believe in honoring the process, asking thoughtful questions, and allowing my students to guide their own growth. They know their bodies best—I simply help support and guide them along the way.

My journey and my passion behind this work can be found here.
